The Ninja SLUSHi FS301C is a countertop frozen drink maker that turns ordinary liquid into smooth slush without a single ice cube. Pour in juice, soda, coffee, wine or chocolate milk, choose a program, and RapidChill Technology rotates the liquid 360 degrees around a chilling cylinder until it reaches the texture the program is set for.

The 88 oz vessel takes up to 64 oz of liquid, which is a 2 L bottle of pop or five cans, and that yields seven or more 9 oz servings from one batch. Once the batch is ready the Whisperchill compressor quietly holds it at the right temperature and texture for up to 12 hours, so a long afternoon does not mean a second round of mixing.

Serving is meant to be hands-off for the host. A comfort handle sits at the front, the anti-drip spout clears an average 7.5 inch margarita glass, and the two-part drip tray catches what the spout does not. Freezing a batch takes roughly 15 to 60 minutes depending on the ingredients, the volume and how cold the liquid starts, and the recipe does need sugar or a sugar substitute in it to slush properly.
