The Sonim XP5s XP5800 is a rugged LTE handset made for people who work outdoors and break
ordinary phones. It is IP68 dust-tight and water resistant, certified to
MIL-STD-810H, and carries Non-Incendive Class I, II and III Div 2 ratings, which
is what allows it on sites where an ordinary phone is not permitted.

It is deliberately not a smartphone. The physical keypad works through
gloves, the dedicated push-to-talk key turns it into a two-way radio across the
LTE network, and the 100 dB+ speaker is loud enough to hear over machinery. The
3180 mAh battery is removable, so a spare in the truck means no downtime.

Behind the toughness is a Snapdragon 427 with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of
