The Samsung 70-Inch U8000F Crystal UHD is Samsung's volume 4K television, and it is the sensible choice for the room where screen size matters more than a specification sheet. At 70 inches you get the scale that makes films and sport worth watching, driven by the Crystal Processor 4K, which upscales lower-resolution sources rather than simply stretching them.

A 4K panel at 3840 x 2160 with HDR10+ support, so HDR content carries scene-by-scene tone mapping rather than one setting applied across a whole film. Mega Contrast and Contrast Enhancer widen the gap between the darkest and brightest parts of the image, which is where a mid-range LED set earns its keep. The MetalStream design keeps the bezel and back panel genuinely slim.

Smart Features

Tizen with One UI runs the interface, with Samsung TV Plus offering 1,200-plus free channels alongside the usual apps. A SmartThings hub is built into the set and speaks Matter, so the television can act as the controller for smart home devices instead of needing a separate box.
