What separates this from a budget unit is the Smart Inverter magnetron. Conventional microwaves only run at full power and fake lower settings by switching the magnetron on and off, which is why the outside of a lasagna boils while the middle stays cold. Smart Inverter holds a steady, lower output instead, so delicate foods poach rather than rubberize and frozen cuts defrost edge-to-centre without pre-cooking the corners.
