The Ninja CREAMi Swirl Ice Cream Maker NC701C does two jobs that usually take two appliances. It processes a pint you have already frozen into smooth, scoopable ice cream, and dispenses that same pint as a swirled soft serve cone through a nozzle on the front of the base. A Soft Serve key and a Scoop key sit above the program ring, and the machine adjusts the spin and texture to match the one you choose.

The process starts the night before. You mix a base, pour it into one of the two extruding pint containers, and leave it in the freezer to set solid. The next day the machine drives a shaving blade down through that frozen block and breaks it into particles fine enough to read as creamy rather than icy, which is what Ninja calls 2-in-1 Creamify Technology. In soft serve mode a tri-speed Soft Serve Handle then extrudes the result straight into a cone or a bowl.

Because you build the base yourself, the sugar, the dairy and the calories are all under your control, which makes it practical for low sugar, dairy free, nut free, high protein and vegan desserts. A dedicated CreamiFit program is tuned for higher protein, lower calorie bases so they finish in a single spin.
