About This Product

Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker NC301C 7 Programs Silver - Open Box

The Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker NC301C turns a solid frozen base into smooth ice cream, sorbet or gelato in minutes, which means the flavour, the sugar level and the mix-ins are entirely your call. Instead of churning a liquid base the way a traditional machine does, it works on a pint you have already frozen, so the prep is a five minute job the night before and the machine handles the rest the next day.

Underneath the housing sit dual-drive motors and a Creamerizer paddle. The paddle drives down through the frozen block and shaves it into particles fine enough to read as creamy rather than icy, a process Ninja calls Creamify technology. An LED progress bar on the front tracks the cycle from start to finish, and a Re-Spin button runs a second, shorter pass if the first result comes out firmer than you wanted.

Because you build the base yourself, this is a straightforward machine for low sugar, keto, dairy free and vegan desserts, and for anyone who wants a flavour the freezer aisle simply does not stock. Two 16 oz pints with storage lids come in the box, so one can be freezing while the other is being eaten.

Key Features

  • Seven one-touch programs: ice cream, sorbet, gelato, milkshake, smoothie bowl, lite ice cream and mix-in, each tuned to its own combination of speed, pressure and run time.
  • Creamify technology: dual-drive motors spin the Creamerizer paddle down through a frozen pint and shave it into a smooth, even texture.
  • Re-Spin function: a second pass that softens and loosens a treat that came out firmer than you like.
  • Dedicated mix-in program: folds chocolate, nuts, candy or fruit through a finished base without melting it back to liquid.
  • LED progress bar: shows how far along the cycle is at a glance instead of leaving you guessing.
  • Top rack dishwasher safe parts: the pints, lids, paddle and outer bowl all go in, and every one of them is BPA free.
  • Compact 800 W base: a narrow footprint that stores under a standard cabinet, with an 80 cm cord.

What to know before you buy

This is the seven program model, not the eleven in one Deluxe or XL, so there is no Italian ice, frozen yogurt, slushi or frozen drink preset on the panel. It processes 16 oz pints, and the base has to sit in the freezer for a full 24 hours before it will process properly, so this is a plan ahead dessert rather than an on demand one. Knowing that going in is the difference between loving this machine and being frustrated by it.
