Canadian model or International model?

We stock both versions of the S26 series. They are the same phone - the difference is which market it was made for, and that is what drives the price and the warranty.

Canadian model
  • The version released for the Canadian market
  • 1-year Canadian Outlet warranty
  • Costs more, and the longer cover is what you are paying for
International model
  • The same handset, sourced for another market
  • Usually Dual SIM, which the Canadian version is not
  • Lower price, with our 1-year Brand New warranty

Both are brand new, unlocked and work on any Canadian network. Every listing states which model it is and which warranty term applies, so you can see exactly what you are buying before you add it to your cart.

Good to know

Questions we get asked a lot

What does "Open Box" mean at Canadian Outlet?
An Open Box unit is a product whose packaging has been opened - usually a customer return, display unit or overstock. We inspect and function-test every one before it is listed, and it comes with a 6-month Canadian Outlet warranty. Cosmetically it is typically indistinguishable from new.
What is Certified Pre-Owned?
Certified Pre Owned devices have been previously used, then fully inspected, tested and cleaned by our technicians. Every Certified Pre Owned listing states its cosmetic grade so you know exactly what you are buying, and it is covered by the Canadian Outlet warranty.
Are your phones unlocked?
Yes. Every phone we sell is unlocked. There is no carrier lock and no contract, so you can bring it to any Canadian network and switch whenever you like.
How and when will my order ship?
Orders ship by Canada Post by default. If you would rather use Xpress or another carrier, you will find the carrier selection at checkout. We usually get an order shipped out within 1 to 2 business days. How long delivery then takes depends on the carrier, the service you pick and where you live, so we show you an estimate on the product page and again at checkout.
Can I pick up my order in Toronto?
Yes. In-store pickup is available on eligible products at our Toronto location. Choose pickup at checkout and we will email you when your order is ready. Televisions and other large items are pickup-only.
What warranty comes with my purchase?
Canadian Outlet warranty periods are 1 year for Brand New items, 6 months for Open Box items, and 3 months for Certified Pre-Owned items. The term that applies is shown on the product page. We are the seller of record, so Canadian Outlet warranty claims are handled directly by us. Manufacturer warranty is separate: some models carry one and some do not, and it depends on the product and its condition.
Do you buy or take trade-ins?
Yes. Start on our trade-in page to check your estimate. From there you get a shipping label and send the device to us. Once it arrives we inspect it and verify the condition, and after that we process your payment as a bank transfer or as credit towards your next purchase, whichever you prefer. The estimate is confirmed after inspection, and credit is not applied to an order automatically. You are also welcome to bring the device to the store at 1431 Yonge Street. Get your trade-in quote
