FAQ

What is different about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 vs older Folds?

The shape. The Z Fold 8 swaps the tall, narrow format for a wider 4:3 main display and a 5.5″ cover screen that works like a normal phone — and at 201g it is the lightest Fold yet.

How is it different from the Z Fold8 Ultra?

The Ultra keeps the tall 8.0″ format, 200MP camera and a telephoto lens at a higher price; the Z Fold8 offers the new wide format with dual 50MP cameras.

Is it waterproof?

It carries an IP48 rating: immersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes, protected against particles larger than 1mm.

Does it support the S Pen?

No — neither the Z Fold8 nor the Z Fold8 Ultra supports the S Pen.
