Defiant Round Fingerprint Deadbolt Matte Black Wi-Fi - Brand New

Fingerprint Entry, Backed by an App When You Want One

The Defiant Round Fingerprint Deadbolt opens to a touch. A capacitive sensor reads your fingerprint the same way a phone does, and the bolt turns — no fumbling for keys with an armful of groceries, no code to teach a house guest. It holds up to 30 fingerprints, so everyone who genuinely lives there can have their own.

This is the round escutcheon, model HSGCCX9D01APPB in matte black — the softer, traditional plate that sits more naturally on a classic door or alongside rounded knobs and levers. It is the same lock as the square version underneath; only the trim shape differs.

What separates this from a basic keypad lock is the Hubspace app. Fingerprints and codes are enrolled through it over Bluetooth, and a smart indoor plug is included in the box that bridges the lock to your Wi-Fi — so remote lock, unlock and status checks work from anywhere without buying a separate hub. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. If you would rather ignore all of that, it still works perfectly well as a plain fingerprint deadbolt.

A backlit keypad covers the times a finger will not read — wet hands, gloves, cold weather — and two physical keys are included as the last resort if the batteries run flat. Vacation mode suspends access without wiping the lock, and an anti-saw rod reinforces the bolt itself.

Key Features

• Biometric fingerprint entry — touch the sensor and the deadbolt turns; no code to remember at the door.
• Stores up to 30 fingerprints — enough for a large household, a rental, or a family plus regular visitors.
• Hubspace app over Bluetooth — enrol fingerprints, manage codes and operate the lock from your phone at the door.
• Remote access included — the smart indoor plug in the box bridges the lock to your Wi-Fi, so there is no separate hub to buy.
• Works with Alexa and Google Home — voice control and integration with routines you already run.
• Four ways in — fingerprint, keypad code, the app, or a physical key.
• Backlit keypad — readable at night, and the answer when a finger is wet, cold or gloved.
