The Shark Matrix Plus Robot Vacuum RV2610WACA is a 2-in-1 floor cleaner: an ultra-powerful vacuum for carpets and hard floors, and a sonic mop that scrubs those hard floors in the same run. When the job is finished the robot returns to its bagless XL base and empties its own dustbin, so that is one step you are not doing after every clean.

The navigation is the part worth understanding. Matrix Clean Navigation moves the robot over an area from multiple angles in a matrix-like grid rather than one direction only, so no spots are missed. It maps your home and uses that map to clean targeted areas on demand, it detects and avoids objects in its path, and CleanEdge Technology uses blasts of air and corner recognition to move debris out of edges and corners and into the cleaning path.

Both are started from the app and run on the area you pick rather than the whole floor plan.

Because the base is bagless there are no dust bags to buy, and it is built for the mix of carpets, area rugs and hard floors a typical home has, pet hair included.
