Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum HV371C, Aha Blue - Open Box

The Shark Corded Stick Vacuum HV371C, which Shark sells as the Rocket Pro DLX, runs on a 7.62 m power cord rather than a battery, so there is no runtime to manage. It weighs 3.89 kg, and stairs sit alongside carpet, area rugs, hard floor and tile on the surface list published for it. The hand vacuum lifts off the wand, so the same motor handles above-floor messes.

Shark describes the Rocket Pro DLX as a thorough deep carpet cleaner with pet hair pickup on every surface. The spec sheet lists a 21.59 cm cleaning path, an XL-capacity dust cup and washable foam filters. LED headlights sit on the nozzle and on the hand vacuum, and Shark's stated purpose for them is revealing hidden debris and pet hair; the lit strip across the floor head is visible in the Aha Blue product photography.

That makes it a straightforward pick for a home that mixes hard floor, area rugs and carpet, where the crevice, upholstery and dusting tools cover the edges and the furniture between them.

Key Features

• Corded power, 7.62 m reach: a 4.2 A motor on a 25 ft cord, so there is no runtime to manage.
• Removable hand vacuum: an easy-release foot pedal detaches the wand from the nozzle, turning the stick into a hand vac for stairs and upholstery.
• LED headlights: fitted to the nozzle and the hand vacuum, to reveal hidden debris and pet hair.
• Advanced Swivel Steering: Shark pairs it with a low-profile design for cleaning under furniture.
• XL-capacity dust cup: bagless and easy-empty; Shark's line for it is extended cleaning without interruption.
• Washable foam filters: the filter type Shark specifies for this model, washable rather than disposable.
• Two running settings: a slider on the hand vacuum marked off, I and II.
• 21.59 cm cleaning path: the width of floor the nozzle covers in one pass.

Each of the three tools in the box has a job Shark names for it. The upholstery tool is the one it points at pet hair on upholstery and stairs. The anti-allergen dust brush carries nylon bristles that Shark says remove fine dust and allergen particles. The crevice tool is the narrow one for tight gaps. All three belong to the work the removable hand vacuum is there for, which Shark sums up as cleaning from floor to ceiling rather than floor alone.
