The Shark Glossi Hot Tool HT302CTL pairs heat-controlled ceramic plates with high-speed
airflow so hair is shaped and smoothed as it dries, rather than being blasted with heat and
then flat-ironed afterwards. It is a single two-in-one styler in a juniper teal finish: the
round barrel holds nylon and boar bristles for grip, a row of ceramic plates sits behind them
to glide and smooth each section, and the air comes through the barrel itself. The result the
brand claims is a bouncy, glossy blowout with less frizz than air-drying, holding its shine
for a full day.

There are two ways to run it. Wet Mode takes damp hair through to dry while stretching and
volumizing it, so you are not drying first and styling second. Dry Mode works on hair that is
already dry, shaping, smoothing and restyling it to lock in gloss. A slide switch on the
handle moves between the two, and separate airflow and temperature buttons let you dial the
pass down for fine hair or up for thick, coily textures. Shark rates the tool for every
texture from 1A through 4C.

What to know before you buy

This is a fixed, one-piece styler. The barrel is part of the tool, so there are no
interchangeable heads, no concentrator and no second brush to swap on, and nothing listed in
the box beyond the styler itself, including no storage pouch. The filter cover on the handle
slides down for cleaning and Shark asks that you wipe it regularly with a dry cloth or a clean
toothbrush, which is worth knowing on a used unit. It is a 120 V, 1,300 watt North American
tool with a fixed power cord.
