It is the richer counterpart to the 72H gel-cream in the same range, and the difference is deliberate: a denser, more nourishing texture that seals moisture in rather than simply adding it.

The formula pairs Vichy's mineral-rich volcanic water with pure hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and vitamin E, then layers in squalane, biolipids and shea butter to rebuild the oily side of the skin barrier that dry skin is usually short on. The hyaluronic acid handles the water, the lipids stop it escaping, and niacinamide works on texture and on the reactivity that tends to come with a barrier under strain.
